The Marcolivia Duo in Concert

Portsmouth Public Library is pleased to present:
The Marcolivia Duo in concert at 1pm October 24th, 2015

In the Coleman room at the Churchland Branch Library 4934 High Street West.

The Marcolivia Duo has been featured many times on NPR’s “Performance Today” and “Front Row Washington”. They have performed at the Kennedy Center, Strathmore, Merkin Hall and Symphony Space, NYC.

For an afternoon concert, Marcolivia will perform and talk about folk-based music of Eastern-Europe and America. Their music will include folk dances from Czechoslovakia and Hungary; Klezmer music of Israel, and an American Hoe-down, amongst other jazz-based styles.

Cradock Science Fiction Book Club

If you like to read everyone from Isaac Asimov to Stephen King, Guillermo del Toro to Neal Stephenson and lots of others in between, then come join the Cradock Science Fiction Book Club.
